More about the place

The river is about 120 km long: it rises in Lago Puelo National Park, in Argentina, crosses the Carretera Austral and flows into the Reloncaví Sound, in Chile.

Anglers catch rainbow and brown trout, sea trout and Chinook salmon. February to March is the Chinook high season; between April and May, migratory trout are caught on the fly. The source mentions local guides and says some trout exceed 5 kg.
